Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must satisfy the following conditions before applying:

  • Passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
  • Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Class 10.
  • Must possess an NCVT or SCVT ITI certificate in the relevant trade.
  • SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from the 50% marks requirement in Matriculation.
  • Candidates applying for Laboratory Technician trades must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with the required minimum marks.

Selection Process

There is no written examination.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on:

  1. Merit prepared using Matriculation and ITI marks.
  2. Unit preference filled during online application.
  3. Document Verification.
  4. Medical Fitness Certificate.

If two candidates obtain equal marks, preference will be given to:

  • Older candidate.
  • If age is also same, the candidate who passed Matric earlier.

Merit List Preparation

The final merit list will be prepared by taking the average percentage of:

  • Class 10 Marks
  • ITI Marks

For Laboratory Technician trades, merit will be prepared using:

  • Class 10 Marks
  • Class 12 (PCB) Marks

No additional marks or weightage will be given for any other qualification.

Stipend
