Eligibility

Educational qualification varies by post. Some major requirements are:

• Nursing Superintendent: GNM or B.Sc Nursing.
• Pharmacist: B.Pharm or Pharm.D with required registration.
• Radiographer: 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry plus a relevant 2-year diploma.
• ECG Technician: 10+2/Science graduation with relevant ECG/Cardiology qualification.
• Optometrist: B.Sc Optometry or eligible Ophthalmic Technician diploma.
• Lab Assistant: 10+2 Science with DMLT or eligible equivalent qualification.

Candidates must possess the required qualification by the application closing date.

Age Limit

The age limit is 18 to 40 years, depending on the post. The age will be calculated as on 1 January 2027.

For example, Nursing Superintendent requires 20–40 years, Pharmacist 20–35 years, and Lab Assistant 18–33 years.

Applicable age relaxation will be provided to reserved categories as per Railway rules.

Selection Process

The selection process includes:

CBT → Document Verification → Medical Examination → Final Empanelment

The CBT will have 100 questions for 100 marks and will be conducted for 90 minutes. There will be 1/3 negative marking for every wrong answer.
